Description

This specialized silane impregnating agent is designed for the protection of concrete structures in harbor engineering, highways, and bridges. The agent provides deep hydrophobic impregnation, preventing the penetration of moisture and aggressive agents into the concrete pores, which significantly extends the lifespan of the structures.

To achieve maximum effectiveness, the surface must be cleaned of dirt, oils, and pollutants using a wire brush or compressed air, and kept dry for at least 3 days before application. It is recommended to conduct preliminary tests on a small area (1-5 square meters) followed by core sampling and inspection.

Application can be performed using airless spraying equipment, rollers, or brushes. When using sprayers, a continuous pumping system with a nozzle pressure of 60-70 kPa is recommended. It is critical to prevent water from entering the system and to stop work immediately if it rains.

The application rate is approximately 300g/m². The process can be completed in one or two stages, with a minimum interval of 6 hours between applications. In areas with fluctuating water levels, application should occur during low tide, ensuring a dry period of 3-6 hours for absorption.
