Description
The QX-6342 paste-like silane impregnating agent based on isooctyltriethoxysilane is designed for the protection of new concrete structures as well as the reinforcement and repair of old concrete buildings. It effectively inhibits the destructive impact of various corrosive factors on reinforced concrete, significantly improving durability and service life.
The product features strong penetration capabilities, reaching 3-4mm into the concrete, which reduces the water absorption rate and chloride ion corrosion by over 90%. As a truly waterproof yet breathable product, it prevents bubbling and peeling, effectively treats micro-cracks under 0.2mm, and maintains the original appearance of the concrete.
It is particularly suitable for concrete structures exposed to seawater, salt spray, de-icing agents, and freeze-thaw cycles, such as seaports, cross-sea bridges, hydraulic dams, tunnels, and nuclear power plants. The protective lifespan is estimated between 10 to 15 years.
