Description

The FLD5302 by Panhai Micro is a high-efficiency switching boost lithium battery charging management IC. It is specifically designed for 2-cell or 3-cell Li-ion/Li-polymer battery packs, providing precise charging voltage control with an accuracy of 1%.

The charging process is divided into three sophisticated stages: Pre-charge, Constant Current (CC), and Constant Voltage (CV). This ensures the longevity and safety of the battery cells. Additionally, the chip features an adaptive input loop that intelligently adjusts the charging current to prevent overloading the power adapter.

Integrated protection mechanisms include over-voltage and over-current protection to safeguard the battery cells. Housed in a compact SOP-8 package, the FLD5302 requires minimal external components, making it an ideal choice for handheld devices, portable audio equipment, and other mobile electronics.
