Description

The ACERA AMUNDSEN SBA™ is a range of premium HMPE mooring ropes, widely regarded as the safest available thanks to the integrated Timm Snap Back Arrestor (SBA™) technology. This innovative system drastically reduces dangerous snap-back effects, creating a significantly safer working environment for the vessel's crew.

All Acera Amundsen SBA™ ropes are fully compliant with global maritime standards such as OCIMF MEG 4, SIRE 2.0, RightShip RISQ, SOLAS, and Intertanko. The technology has been awarded a statement of qualified technology by DNV following rigorous testing programs performed according to DNV's recommended practice A203.

Constructed from genuine Acera™ HMPE yarns, these ropes offer a superior strength-to-weight ratio and exceptional abrasion resistance. The unique single-yarn coating process provides excellent UV protection and durability, while the integrated Acera Supereye protection ensures long-term reliability and reduced cost of ownership.
