The TIMM MASTER 12 SBA™ Tail is the safest mooring tail available, utilizing the proprietary Snap Back Arrestor (SBA™) technology introduced by Timm in 2019. This advanced system is specifically designed to reduce dangerous snap-backs, creating a much safer working environment for the ship's crew.
Constructed from a blend of high-tenacity polyester and B5 polyolefin yarns, these tails effectively absorb shock and energy within mooring systems. The eyes are reinforced with an integrated mesh braid, providing superior durability and protection against abrasion, rust, and sharp edges.
The rope features floating properties, excellent UV resistance, and an anti-twist color indicator to help prevent operational hazards. Fully compliant with OCIMF MEG 4, SIRE 2.0, RightShip RISQ, SOLAS, and Intertanko, and Type Approved by DNV, it meets the strictest global maritime safety regulations.
