Silane impregnating agent is a high-performance hydrophobic solution with excellent affinity for concrete substrates. It easily penetrates deep into the concrete, where active silane components react with moisture and air to form a stable, water-repellent organic silicone network within the capillary pores.
This protective layer acts as an invisible, breathable armor; it effectively blocks the ingress of external water and harmful substances while allowing internal water vapor and gases to escape. This significantly improves the concrete structure's waterproofing, salt and alkali resistance, and freeze-thaw durability.
The product is widely used for protecting reinforced concrete structures such as sea ports, cross-sea bridges, viaducts, tunnels, airport runways, and power plants. It is particularly recommended for structures exposed to seawater corrosion, salt spray, de-icing agents, and severe freeze-thaw cycles, thereby extending the service life of the concrete.
